ATTORNEY YASENIA L. CONDE
Hello, I am Attorney Yasenia L. Conde.
Welcome to CONDE OFFICE OF LAW, an immigration and criminal defense law office that provides clients with compassionate legal representation premised on the idea that we all deserve equal access to justice.
The name CONDE OFFICE OF LAW came to be in honor of my father Luis A. Conde who risked his life to immigrate to the United States with me and my older brother when war erupted in El Salvador. When I tell my clients that “I understand what they are going through,” I really mean it. I understand the complexities of our immigration system because I have had to experience it firsthand.
I started my legal career with no formal education in 2006. I then decided to enroll in the Los Angeles City College’s paralegal program and obtained my Associate in Arts Degree in Paralegal Studies. While at LACC I made the Dean’s List several times.
I was motivated!
I then attended the University of La Verne, and I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies proudly graduating Cum Laude. I was also inducted to the La Verne chapter of the Lambda Epsilon Chi (LEX) National Honor Society- Paralegal Studies for my outstanding academics. Finally, I took the scary decision to go to Law School. I obtained my Juris Doctorate Degree from John F. Kennedy, College of Law, and made the dean’s list as well as obtaining two Witkins Awards in Evidence Law and Community Property Law.
As a Provisionally Licensed Attorney I applied all my legal knowledge and helped immigration applicants obtain several forms of benefits. In the Criminal Defense side, I helped oppose and win many motions in favor of our clients and assisted in the representation of many immigrant criminal defendants’ successfully obtaining immigration neutral pleas.
